Our spice journey: From Southern India’s Hill Station region to our first bricks & mortar restaurant.

Coconut Chilli’s roots were established at the iconic Whiteladies Road farmers market in foodie Bristol, where founder Navina Bartlett launched her award-winning Southern Indian cuisine. But the bright lights and keen London foodies beckoned and for several years, Executive Chef, KK Anand and the ‘Boss Lady’ have been feeding hungry punters all across the capital. But they returned to Bristol to host a couple of successful pop-up events and now are set to stay for a few months at the former Rosa Tapas site in Clifton.

The ‘Hill Station’ areas of India – the inspiration for our cuisine - have long been known for outrageous parties flowing with EXCELLENT food and drink.

Open all-day serving our 'Hill Station inspired Indian cuisine' – KK and Navina will be serving their range of signature gourmet Southern Indian curries, expertly spiced wraps and Executive Chef, KK Anand, has created a bespoke menu featuring Indian small plates which can be enjoyed with carefully sourced local ales and a selection of fine wines.

Although our roots are firmly in Bristol, as event caterers, we've been busy working away, mainly in & around London for the last couple of years.

Coconut Chilli has had the absolute privilege of attending some of the most well respected food festivals in the UK including Jamie Oliver’s ‘The Big Feastival’, Abergavenny Food Festival and Bristol Food Connections. We have also worked with prestigious corporates such as the Financial Times, Virgin Start Up and Microsoft as well as catering for Diwali celebrations for the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, in Trafalgar Square.
